Brock Rechsteiner, Son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner, Signs Saints UDFA Contract
The New Orleans Saints have signed wide receiver Brock Rechsteiner as an undrafted free agent.
Rechsteiner is the son of professional wrestler Scott Steiner, who was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022 alongside his brother, Rick Steiner. The two formed a tag team, The Steiner Brothers, and won the tag team championships in the then-WWF (twice), WCW (seven times) and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (twice).

As noted by ESPN's Katherine Terrell, Rechsteiner is now on the Saints' 90-man roster after trying out for the team during New Orleans' rookie mini camp.
His cousin, Bronson Rechsteiner, stars in the WWE under the name Bron Breakker. The current Saints wideout would like to pursue WWE in the future.
"I want to pursue football a long as I can, play as long as I can, but once I'm done, I'll get into wrestling, too," Rechsteiner said last weekend, per WDSU-TV's Sharief Ishaq.
Perhaps he enjoys a successful WWE career down the road, but as of now, Rechsteiner is trying to carve out an NFL path. Voluntary offseason team activities are up next beginning Wednesday, May 27.
