Bengals' Andrei Iosivas Reveals Getting Online Abuse in DMs, 'It Got in My Head'
Cincinnati Bengals wideout Andrei Iosivas had a difficult 2025 season, leading the team in drops with five while seeing his overall production diminish.
But it was also compounded by the online abuse he received in response.
"I feel like last year I was in my head a little bit," Iosivas told reporters Tuesday. "I had those drops in those games and people were telling me to kill myself and all that kind of stuff. I never had that kind of stuff happen to me before. So it got in my head a little bit when people—you know, when your DMs [direct messages] are flooded with people telling you to kill yourself. ... It makes me angry, honestly."

Biggest NFL Dominoes Left to Fall
The 26-year-old set career highs in receptions (36), receiving yards (479) and touchdowns (six) in the 2024 season, but his numbers dropped to 33 catches for 435 yards and a career-low two scores last season. Joe Burrow's injury issues—he missed nine games last season—didn't help matters, and there is the reality that Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins will eat a ton of targets.
As for Iosivas, he's trying to drown out the external criticisms.
"Just not letting outside noise get to me and letting circumstances get to me," he told reporters. "I know I'm a great player so (I'm) not letting people's opinions or things in the building kind of just irritate me."
