Flavor Flav Says USA Women's Hockey Team Will Get Keys to Las Vegas for Olympic Gold Medal Win

Flavor Flav expects the United States women's hockey team to get the full VIP treatment during the "She Got Game" event he helped to organize for July.

The legendary rapper and hype man told TMZ Sports the players will receive a key to the city in Las Vegas to honor their success in the 2026 Winter Olympics.

"I got the whole United States Olympic women's hockey team coming to Vegas from July 16-19, and it's going down," he said. "I'm gonna do them real good. … We'll have a party, a parade. I'm giving them the key to the city, the proclamation, all of that."

The U.S. beat Canada 2-1 in overtime of the final, capturing its third gold medal in women's ice hockey.

Citing a scheduling conflict, the team didn't partake in the usual celebrations at the White House. The decision also followed President Donald Trump making a dismissive remark about having to invite the women's squad along with the gold medal-winning men's hockey team.

Days after the Olympics concluded, Flavor Flav announced his plans for "She Got Game" weekend, which will celebrate the women's hockey team in addition to other women's sports luminaries.

It sounds like he and the city of Las Vegas are pulling out all the stops.
