Daniel Jeremiah's Favorite 2026 Draft Picks

  1. Round 1: New York Jets, WR Omar Cooper Jr., No. 30
  2. Round 2: Cleveland Browns, S Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, No. 58
  3. Round 3: Minnesota Vikings, OT Caleb Tiernan, No. 97

  6. Round 6: Atlanta Falcons, LB Harold Perkins Jr., No. 215
  7. Round 7: Indianapolis Colts, WR Deion Burks, No. 254

The Browns traded back from the No. 6 overall pick in the first round to the No. 9 choice before selecting Fano, who is immediately expected to contribute on their offensive line following a standout college career at Utah.

McShay was particularly impressed with the Patriots' selection of Gabe Jacas in the second round, as he's coming off a senior season with Illinois in which he racked up 13.5 tackles for loss and 11 sacks in 12 games.

"Jacas is not gonna beat you with speed and athleticism, but look at the sack guys in the league," McShay said Thursday on The McShay Show (14:28 mark). "So many of them are relentlessness, leverage, power, fighting through, extending the rush through contact, all of those things. Jacas immediately steps in and becomes an impact player for this defense, that's exactly what they needed."

The one pick that both analysts selected as their favorite was the Colts adding wide receiver Deion Burks in the seventh round.

Burks served as a consistent weapon at Purdue and Oklahoma during his college tenure, hauling in 135 receptions for 1,494 yards and 14 touchdowns across 30 games from 2023-25.
