New Video Shows Eagles Trading Up to Draft Makai Lemon, 'Can We Not Get Him on the Phone?'
The Philadelphia Eagles trading up to select wide receiver Makai Lemon during the 2026 NFL draft was shown in a YouTube video posted by the team on Wednesday.
The video also showed Eagles general manager Howie Roseman struggling to contact Lemon, who was initially on the phone with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
"Can we not get him on the phone?" Roseman asked (5:32 mark).

"Tell him we're trying to get him," he added. "Call him."
The Eagles traded up from the No. 23 overall pick to select Lemon at No. 20 as part of a swap with the Dallas Cowboys.
Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Steelers held the No. 21 choice and seemed to be on the verge of drafting the receiver before the trade.
Lemon ultimately joined the Eagles and is expected to immediately factor into their passing attack as a rookie.
He's coming off a 2025 season at USC in which he hauled in 79 receptions for 1,156 yards and 11 touchdowns.
