Check Out Snowy Conditions Ahead of Mets-Rockies at Coors Field in Video, Latest Weather Forecast
For most MLB teams, May brings some of the best weather of the year.
That's not the case for the Colorado Rockies.
The Rockies had to postpone the second game of their series against the New York Mets on Tuesday because of snow, and they had to bring plows to Coors Field to get ready for Wednesday's game.
Fortunately for Denver and the Rockies' groundscrew, better weather is on the way, as highs will be in the 70s later this week. For now, the Rockies and the Mets will have to brave the cold on Wednesday.
Both Colorado and New York have had rough starts to the season. The Rockies are sitting in fourth place in the NL West at 14-22, while the Mets are in last place in the NL East at 13-22.
New York took the first game of the series 4-2, and it will look to keep that win streak going into the second game on Wednesday.
