Jake Paul Called Out for MMA Fight by Mike Perry After Nate Diaz Fight on Ronda Rousey-Carano Card
While Mike Perry is focused on his upcoming fight against Nate Diaz on the May 16 Netflix card headlined by Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano, he's still hoping for another opportunity to face Jake Paul.
Perry, who lost to Paul in a boxing match in July 2024 by sixth-round TKO, told Mike Babcock of TMZ that he would welcome the chance for a rematch, this time in an MMA fight.
"Absolutely," Perry said. "Jake has mentioned he would be interested in fighting Nate if Nate was able to be successful. But, you know, so I'm looking to go out May 16th, give it everything I've got, dominate and, you know, see if Jake goes running scared or if he wants to fight an MMA fight."

Perry is fighting in MMA for the first time since 2021. The 34-year-old former UFC star has become the face of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, which helped him earn his first fight against Paul nearly two years ago.
"I think things come full circle all the time. I've continued to work hard, before getting the Jake Paul [boxing] fight, working hard got me the Jake Paul fight," Perry said. "I worked hard for the Jake Paul fight, and I had some setbacks. I continued to work hard, got back in the winner's circle, performed again, and now we're here fighting on MVP again."
The May 16 event is being promoted by Paul's Most Valuable Promotions, so Perry will have the chance to call him out if he's successful against Diaz. An MMA match between Perry and Paul would surely excite fans who are waiting to see what the YouTuber does next after his knockout loss against Anthony Joshua in December.
