Golden Tempo Sleeping Photo Trends After Historic 2026 Kentucky Derby Win with Cherie DeVaux

Golden Tempo certainly earned a nice, restful start to the week.

Trainer Cherie DeVaux shared a photo of the Kentucky Derby winner napping peacefully in his stall Monday morning:

Golden Tempo bucked his long odds and mounted a furious comeback at Churchill Downs to complete an improbable victory at Churchill Downs. DeVaux became the first woman to train the winning horse in the Derby.

She has yet to make a decision on whether Golden Tempo will be in the field for the Preakness Stakes on May 16.
