Watch Stephen Jones, Cowboys Make Browns NFL Draft Trade Offer on Video Prior to Caleb Downs Pick
The Dallas Cowboys made a handful of trades during the NFL draft, but they weren't able to convince the Cleveland Browns to swap first-round picks with them.
A new video showed Stephen Jones and the Cowboys attempting to trade the No. 12 and 20 picks plus a fifth-rounder to Andrew Berry and the Browns in return for the No. 9 and 24 picks.
Berry ultimately wasn't interested.

Cleveland held on to its No. 9 pick to select Utah offensive tackle Spencer Fano. It was probably a wise choice not to move back, since the New York Giants also took an offensive tackle at No. 10.
The Cowboys were able to move up to No. 11 after a trade with the Miami Dolphins, and they used that pick to select Ohio State star safety Caleb Downs. Dallas later traded back, sending its No. 20 pick to the Philadelphia Eagles and moving down to No. 23 in the first round.
