David Benavidez was joined by boxing legend Mike Tyson for his ring walk ahead of a fight with Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Ramirez will be defending his WBA and WBO cruiserweight titles against Benavidez, who is a two-division champion. He also moved up to cruiserweight for the fight.

As for Tyson, the former world heavyweight champion previously bestowed the nickname of "The Mexican Monster" upon Benavidez.

The 29-year-old enters Saturday night's bout with a record of 31-0 and 25 knockouts. Benavidez is coming off a seventh-round TKO of Anthony Yarde in Nov. 2025.

Meanwhile, Ramirez boasts a 48-1 record with 30 knockouts. His last fight was a unanimous decision win over Yuniel Dorticos in June 2025.
