Olivia Rodrigo Jokes About Jake Paul's Netflix Boxing Fights in Trending Video During SNL

Olivia Rodrigo seemingly took a jab at the November 2024 fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson during her opening monologue on Saturday Night Live.

Rodrigo brought up Paul through their connection as actors on Bizaardvark, which ran on Disney Channel from 2016 to 2019.

"We had an incredible cast, which included acting legend Jake Paul," Rodrigo said. "We'd always talk about our futures, me and Jake. I'd say, I really want to create music that explores the complexities of girls my age. And he'd say, one day I really want to beat up old guys on Netflix.

"And we both did it. Hooray!"

Paul defeated Tyson, who was 58 years old at the time, in an eight-round unanimous decision in his first Netflix fight.

In his latest bout shared on the streaming service, Paul lost to Anthony Joshua in a sixth-round KO during a fight last December in Miami.
