NFL Players Michael Jordan, Isaiah Thomas Work Out for Eagles at Rookie Minicamp

Michael Jordan and Isiah Thomas were involved in one of the NBA's most historic rivalries, but the Philadelphia Eagles are trying to create a scenario with an M.J. and I.T. as teammates.

As the Eagles open rookie minicamp on Friday, two of the players getting a tryout are an offensive lineman named Michael Jordan and an EDGE named Isaiah Thomas.

Jordan has been in the NFL since 2019 when he was a fourth-round draft pick by the Cincinnati Bengals. Thomas was a seventh-round pick by the Cleveland Browns in 2022.

It will be interesting to see if Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni matches them up to see if they try to go as hard against each other as Michael Jordan and Thomas did when the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons met in the playoffs in the 1980s and '90s.

Hopefully any potential battles between the modern-day Jordan and Thomas don't lead to a lifelong hatred in the way that M.J. still dislikes Thomas and the Bad Boy Pistons.
