Luke Shaw Gets in Touch with Fan Who Guessed Wrong Shirt Number for 2015/16

Manchester United confirmed their squad numbers for the season, leaving the No. 2 and No. 3 shirts open.

That was a surprise for some fans—and a painful discovery for one in particular, Robert Burke, who had banked on Luke Shaw retaining the No. 3 jersey this season when he bought his shirt.

But the story had a happy ending, it seems, with Robert later tweeting that Shaw had gotten in touch with him directly (and probably not to laugh at his expense, but to see if he could help).
