Kyle Schwarber Eclipses Babe Ruth Feat with 350th Career HR in Phillies' Win vs. Giants
Move aside, Babe Ruth.
Philadelphia Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber launched his 350th career home run during Thursday's 3-2 victory over the San Francisco Giants. Notably, he hit two more home runs in his first 1,321 games than the Sultan of Swat himself:

It should be noted, Ruth was far from done after 1,321 games.
He hit 366 more home runs the rest of his career, which is a total that would be tied for 90th all time by itself. Schwarber, 33, is still miles off of Ruth's 714 career homers.
Only Barry Bonds (762) and Hank Aaron (755) hit more home runs than Ruth in Major League Baseball history.
The seven-time World Series champion led the league in home runs 12 times during his legendary career and has remained mythical figure around the game ever since his career ended following the 1935 campaign.
Surpassing Ruth on any list is a testament to Schwarber's power and overall ability, and he has a World Series title, three All-Star Game selections and a Silver Slugger on his own resume. He's also led the league in home runs twice, including last year when he finished with a career-high 56 for the Phillies.
Thursday's homer was his 10th of the 2026 campaign.
Philadelphia could use more of that slug moving forward, as it is off to an 11-19 start and sits in fourth place in the National League East.
