Vaquer dropped the Women's World Championship to Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42, but she confronted Morgan on the ensuing episode of Raw, which suggested a rematch was possible.
However, on this week's Raw, Vaquer was jumped backstage by Morgan and her Judgment Day stablemates. Later in the show, the announce team noted that La Primera had suffered an injury to the AC joint in her shoulder.
Coming out of Raw, Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live (h/tย Steve Carrier of Ringside News) reported that Vaquer's injury was legitimate, and it may have actually been a shoulder ailment, as WWE referenced.
Vaquer potentially being out until or even beyond SummerSlam is undoubtedly a hit to the Raw women's division, but there are also still plenty of other women on the roster capable of stepping up and challenging Morgan.
Iyo Sky, Bayley, Lyra Valkyria and the recently debuted Sol Ruca stand out as possibilities, plus WWE has seemingly started to build tension between Morgan and Roxanne Perez.
