New Fantasy NFL Rumors on Jadarian Price, Jalen Milroe's Seahawks Role to Replace Kenneth Walker

The Seattle Seahawks didn't wait long to replace Kenneth Walker, who signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency, drafting Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price in the first round.

He probably isn't going to be a workhorse, three-down back right out of the gate, however.

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, "The sense in Seattle is that Price won't have to be a bell cow right away. The Seahawks have backfield depth and also hope to utilize dual-threat QB Jalen Milroe. Price has a special skill set that will be hard to keep off the field, but he'll have time to develop, too."

The Seahawks still have Zach Charbonnet on the roster and utilized him in a platoon role with Walker, although the latter was far more impactful, especially during last year's postseason (313 rushing yards, four touchdowns, nine receptions for 104 yards). So Charbonnet will still have a role, but Price's big-play potential should add another dimension to the Super Bowl champs.

"Price is a little more home run type of runner (than Walker)," an executive told The Athletic's Mike Sando. "He is not as physical, but he is strong enough and has the speed on the perimeter to make plays in space."
