New WWE Rumors on WrestleMania 44 Location and How Much Money Was Bid to Host in 2028
Nashville, Tennessee, reportedly is making a play to host WWE WrestleMania for the first time in the history of the event.
According to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live (h/t WrestlePurists), Nashville has submitted a bid of $3.5 million plus tax breaks to serve as the host city for WrestleMania 44 in 2028.
If Nashville wins the bid and is awarded WrestleMania 44, the show will almost certainly be held in the Tennessee Titans' New Nissan Stadium, which is scheduled to open in 2027.

WrestleMania has emanated from Las Vegas each of the past two years, marking the first time the event has had the same host city in consecutive years since WrestleMania 4 and 5 occurred in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Vegas' willingness to bid big money in order to keep WrestleMania in the city this year likely played a significant role in WWE doing so, as Jason Ounpraseuth and Brandon Thurston of Post Wrestling reported that public records show Las Vegas paid WWE a $6 million site fee for WrestleMania 42 after paying $5 million for WrestleMania 41.
Next year's WrestleMania 43 is ticketed for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking the first WrestleMania to ever happen outside the United States or Canada.
Nashville would be a logical choice for WrestleMania 44, given that it would continue WWE's recent trend of holding its biggest show of the year in NFL stadiums.
Since WrestleMania 34 in 2018, every WrestleMania has taken place at an NFL stadium with the exception of WrestleMania 36 in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
