WNBA Star Caitlin Clark Reveals New Children's Book Based on Her Life with Release Date Announced
A new children's book based on the life of Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is set to release in November 2026.
According to Hillel Italie of the Associated Press, Random House Books for Young Readers announced Tuesday that "EXTRAordinary! A Little EXTRA to Reach BIG Dreams" will hit shelves on Nov. 3.
Clark released a statement regarding the book's upcoming release, saying, "Basketball has given me so many incredible opportunities, but what has always meant the most to me are the people who've supported me along the way. I hope this book reminds kids that they're never alone in chasing their dreams and that giving a little extra to the people and moments is what makes them EXTRAordinary."

Per Italie, the title of the book is a nod to a quote that was featured prominently in Clark's childhood bedroom, which read, "The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is the little EXTRA."
Clark, 24, is preparing to enter her third WNBA season following a standout collegiate career at Iowa.
Born in Des Moines, Iowa, Clark was a two-time Naismith College Player of the Year during her time with the Hawkeyes, plus she led them to the National Championship Game on two occasions.
The Fever made Clark the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft, and she made an instant impact, earning All-Star and Rookie of the Year honors, while also finishing fourth in the WNBA MVP voting during her debut season.
Last season, Clark was limited to 13 games due to injuries, but she is healthy entering the 2026 campaign and seemingly poised to contend for an MVP and a WNBA title.
The Fever's 2026 regular season will officially get underway on May 9 when they host Paige Bueckers, Azzi Fudd and the Dallas Wings.
