Florida State QB Tommy Castellanos Will Attempt to Play WR in NFL, Reportedly Gets 2 Camp Invites
Former Florida State quarterback Tommy Castellanos reportedly will attend the rookie camps for both the Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins as a wide receiver, according to NFL reporter Jordan Schultz.
Castellanos went undrafted over the weekend after throwing for 2,760 yards, 15 touchdowns and nine interceptions in the 2025 season, completing just 58.3 percent of his passes.
Earlier in April, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported that Castellanos was drawing interest "ahead of the NFL Draft as a quarterback—and a slot receiver. Castellanos... did wide receiver drills at the end of his pro day and is training at both positions."
That made Sunday's report less surprising. Castellanos actually catching on with a team as a slot receiver is probably a long shot, but it's nonetheless an opportunity to continue his playing career.
