2026 NFL Draft Sets Attendance Record, How Many Fans Attended 3-Day Event in Pittsburgh?
A historic number of fans attended the 2026 NFL draft this weekend in Pittsburgh.
Total attendance over the three-day event around the Steelers' Acrisure Stadium totaled an all-time record 805,000 fans, the NFL announced Saturday night.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell had previously announced the 2026 draft set a single-day attendance record with 320,000 attendees on Thursday.
The previous NFL draft attendance record was held by Detroit, where 775,000 fans gathered for the 2024 edition of the event.
The 2019 draft in Nashville and the 2025 draft in Green Bay also brought in more than 600,000 fans each.
The 2026 draft theater and main stage were located on the North Shore outside Acrisure Stadium, while a watch party was held inside the venue.
The 2027 NFL draft is set to take place next April in Washington, D.C. That will mark the first time the event has taken place in the U.S. capital since 1941.
The location for the 2028 draft has not yet been set, although Minnesota has placed a bid to host the event in Minneapolis.
