Full Bryce Young Trade Return After 2026 NFL Draft Finalizes Panthers-Bears Blockbuster
The Chicago Bears have officially closed the book on the blockbuster 2023 trade with the Carolina Panthers that saw Carolina move up to the No. 1 overall pick in the draft to select quarterback Bryce Young.
In exchange for the top pick in the 2023 NFL draft, the Bears received wide receiver DJ Moore and a bevy of draft picks, including what turned out to be the No. 1 selection in the 2024 NFL draft, which was used on quarterback Caleb Williams.
The other selections were either used or traded for other picks, and they turned into offensive tackle Darnell Wright, wide receiver Luther Burden III, cornerback Tyrique Stevenson, punter Tory Taylor, tight end Sam Roush and cornerback Malik Muhammad.
Chicago took Stanford's Roush in the third round of the 2026 NFL draft on Friday, and then landed Texas' Muhammad at No. 124 overall in the fourth round on Saturday.
