Watch Lions Draft Pick Keith Abney's Roller Skating Championship Highlights in New Video

The Detroit Lions selected Arizona State cornerback Keith Abney II with a fifth-round pick (No. 157 overall) in the 2026 NFL draft on Saturday.

Per Darren Urban of azcardinals.com, Abney is a four-time roller skating champion who began skating at the age of five. He was a superstar roller skater in his youth and won four national championships. NFL Network had some of his highlights.

He's also a great football player too. Per B/R NFL Scouting Department, the Lions got a steal, as Abney is ranked 95th overall on its big board.
