Bears NFL Draft Pick Gets Lifetime Supply of Heinz Ketchup After Going 57th Overall
A contract with the Chicago Bears isn't the only thing Iowa center Logan Jones is getting out of his selection with the No. 57 pick of the 2026 NFL draft.
Jones also received a lifetime supply of ketchup as part of a promotion from the Kraft Heinz Company.
Jones found out about the promotion on a Zoom call shortly after his selection in Friday's second round, per ESPN's Courtney Cronin.
"I love it. I'll take as much as I can get," Jones said, per Cronin.
Heinz, which was founded in the late 1800s with the slogan "57 varieties," still features the numbers on bottles today.
Jones will receive a custom "Mr. 57" jacket as well as a partnership opportunity with Heinz, according to the brand.
The center was ranked as the No. 169 overall prospect and No. 20 interior offensive lineman on the final Bleacher Report big board.
B/R NFL scout Brandon Thorn described Jones as "an athletic, center-only prospect with adept run blocking skills who will compete for a role in a zone-oriented system."
Thorn expressed some concern over Jones' measurements. The 24-year-old measured in at the combine at 6'2 7/8" and 299 pounds with an armspan of 30 3/4 inches.
"Jones' short arms and middling play-strength will make it difficult to consistently hold the point or move NFL defensive tackles, shrinking the margins for him to enter into a lineup and stick," Thorn noted.
Jones started out his college career at defensive tackle before transitioning to center ahead of the 2022 season.
He was honored with the Rimington Trophy as the best center in DI football after anchoring an offensive line that helped Iowa quarterback Mark Gronowski set program records for rushing yards and touchdowns.
Jones will now look to prove his size won't stop him from succeeding in the NFL as he looks to step in following the surprising retirement of former Bears center Drew Dalman in March.
