Najee Harris, Kareem Hunt's Best Landing Spots After 2026 NFL Draft Day 2
Some teams are still looking to bolster their run game after two days of the 2026 NFL draft.
The top two running backs on the final Bleacher Report big board are off the table now that the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks have drafted Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price, respectively.
Another running back came off the board when the San Francisco 49ers drafted Indiana's Kaelon Black in Friday's third round.
Teams who have yet to address the position could consider signing a veteran free agent this offseason.
Here's a look at some potential landing spots for some of the top free agent running backs still available this spring.

Potential landing spots: Seattle Seahawks, Las Vegas Raiders
Najee Harris is looking to make his return from the left Achilles tear he suffered in Week 3 of the 2025 season.
It's not clear yet if he'll be making that comeback with the Los Angeles Chargers or, potentially, one of their division rivals.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Harris visited the Seahawks and Raiders in March.
The Seahawks are heading into the 2026 season with a running back depth chart led by Zach Charbonnet after losing Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Even after adding Price, the Seahawks could be looking for a more experienced option to work alongside Charbonnet in the short term.
The Raiders could similarly be looking to add a veteran player who can take some of the workload from 2025 first-round pick Ashton Jeanty.
Harris could bring experience to either of those teams after starting out his NFL career by recording at least 1,000 rushing yards in four straight season with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He signed a one-year deal with the Chargers last offseason, but he only got to play three games before suffering his season-ending injury.
Harris turned 28 in March. He is projected by Spotrac to sign a one-year, $2.9 million deal, although that could depend on his health.
Although Harris' agent posted a video of him sprinting on a treadmill in March, his physicals this summer could ultimately play a role in what his next contract looks like.
Kareem Hunt

Potential landing spots: Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders
Hunt played last season on a one-year deal with the Chiefs, during which he made 163 carries for 611 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns while appearing in all 17 games.
One potential path for Hunt is a return to the Chiefs. Kansas City brought in a lead back in Walker this offseason, but the team also lost Isiah Pacheco to the Detroit Lions.
A depth chart of Emari Demercado, Brashard Smith and SunDerrick Powell could potentially be improved by bringing back Hunt.
Another team that could potentially use Hunt's services are the Raiders, who leaned heavily on Jeanty during his rookie season. Jeanty recorded 266 carries in 2025, while Raheem Mostert ranked second on the team with just 22.
Especially now that Mostert is a pending free agent, the Raiders could use an experienced player who can help shoulder some of the workload and help the team avoid overworking Jeanty.
Hunt is set to turn 31 in August and is projected by Spotrac to sign a one-year, $1.94 contract.
