Former Ravens Star Mark Ingram, Son Troll Steelers at Pittsburgh's NFL Draft in Trending Video
Once a Baltimore Raven, always a Baltimore Raven.
Former NFL running back Mark Ingram, who spent two seasons with the Ravens during his career, let Pittsburgh Steelers fans know exactly how he feels about their team while announcing Baltimore's second-round pick on Friday night:
The NFL draft truly gets fun when the league brings out former players to announce the picks for their organizations, with those players sometimes using the moment to troll a chief rival.
Dallas Cowboys legend Drew Pearson is often one of the most colorful presenters, but few have ever topped Philadelphia Eagles kicker David Akers trolling the Cowboys in 2018, in Dallas, right after the Birds won the Super Bowl:
"What's up, Dallas?" Akers said at the time. "We heard you in Philly last year. I like standing up here before you as an undrafted free agent, representing that shield for 15 years. Tonight, I'm representing the Philadelphia Eagles—NFC East champs. Divisional champs. NFC champs. And world champs! The world champs! Hey Dallas, the last time you won the Super Bowl, these draft picks weren't born."
And then Akers announced the pick, which hilariously turned out to be—of all the possible names—Dallas Goedert.
It was a legendary moment. But Ingram and his son entered the pantheon of all-time draft trolls on Friday.
