Jayden Reed, Packers Agree to Contract Extension After Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks Exits
The Green Bay Packers rewarded a mainstay of their new-look wide receiver corps following the offseason exits of Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks.
Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Packers and wideout Jayden Reed agreed to a three-year contract extension worth $50.25 million with $20 million guaranteed.

Reed was limited to seven games in 2025 due to shoulder and foot injuries, and he finished with just 19 catches for 207 yards and a touchdown. He caught a touchdown pass in Green Bay's 31-27 loss to the Chicago Bears in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs.
In 2024, Reed led the Packers with 55 catches and 857 yards while adding six touchdowns. The team will need him to be at his best after the changes to its receiver room this offseason.
Doubs, who led Green Bay with 55 receptions and 724 yards in 2025, signed a four-year, $68 million contract with the New England Patriots in free agency. Wicks was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this month in exchange for draft compensation. The Packers didn't make a selection in Thursday's first round of the 2026 NFL draft, as their pick belonged to the Dallas Cowboys following the Micah Parsons trade.
The Packers still own eight picks over the remaining six rounds, so they will likely address the wide receiver position at some point. Retaining Reed is a solid move that provides some much-needed depth in the passing attack led by star quarterback Jordan Love.
