Cardinals Had Wrong Phone Number for Jeremiyah Love, GM Reveals in New Trending Video

Arizona Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort admitted Thursday night that it took a little bit longer than expected to get the No. 3 pick in for Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love... because they didn't have his correct phone number on file.

"The phone number we were given was the wrong one," a grinning Ossenfort told reporters. "So that was a little of the delay. We got that straightened out and we called Jeremiyah and got ahold of him. ... Technical difficulties."

He added that there weren't any substantial trade talks that made them seriously consider moving off the pick. The Cardinals just needed the right digits.
