Jadarian Price to Seahawks, Fans React to 2026 NFL Draft Pick After Kenneth Walker III's Chiefs Exit
After losing Kenneth Walker III in free agency, the Seattle Seahawks picked up a new running back in the first round of the NFL draft.
The defending Super Bowl champs selected Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price 32nd overall. The pick made history after Jeremiyah Love went No. 3 overall to the Arizona Cardinals:

Price may have played backup to Jeremiyah Love last year, but he's looking to make an impact immediately in Seattle. Fans were happy with the pick by the Seahawks.
Price was often in Love's shadow, considering the Notre Dame starting running back was one of the best players in college football in 2025, but he made his presence felt in South Bend.
He rushed for 674 yards and 11 touchdowns, adding a pair of scores through the air and two touchdowns on kickoff returns.
Price likely would have been the starting running back at most schools in the country if he had decided to transfer, but he decided to see things through with Notre Dame.
Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department considered Price to be the No. 32 overall player and the No. 2 running back, only behind Love, who was selected third overall.
Price has big shoes to fill, considering he's replacing a player who had 1,027 rushing yards last year and won Super Bowl MVP after rushing for 135 yards against the Patriots.
The Seahawks clearly think Price is capable of filling the void they have at running back since they used a first-round pick on him.
