Watch Michael Brennan Hit Shirtless Shot From Water in Trending Video From PGA Tour's Zurich Classic

Michael Brennan took an uncommon approach to a shot at the PGA Tour's Zurich Classic in New Orleans on Thursday.

Brennan hit his second shot into shallow water on hole No. 18, but took off his shirt and chose to play it instead of taking a drop.

The strategy was unsuccessful, as the 24-year-old's shirtless shot landed back into the water.

Still, Brennan and teammate Johnny Keefer made par and went on to have a strong first round at TPC Louisiana.

The duo finished Thursday's action by carding an 11-under 61, sitting within the top 10 on the Zurich Classic leaderboard at the time their round came to an end.

Brennan previously secured his first PGA Tour win in Oct. 2025 and recently finished in a tie for the No. 42 spot at RBC Heritage as well as a tie for the No. 24 position at the Masters.
