NFL Draft 2026 Odds Reveal Favorites to Be Taken with Each Top-5 Pick amid Latest Rumors
The start of the 2026 NFL draft is drawing nearer, and FanDuel updated its odds for how the top five will play out.
Based on FanDuel's updated list of favorites at each slot, the top five in this year's draft will be as follows:
- Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana (-50,000)
- Arvell Reese, LB/Edge, Ohio State (-145)
- Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame (+150)
- Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State and Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame (+165)
- Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State (+260)
It has long been a given that the Las Vegas Raiders will finally add their franchise quarterback by using the No. 1 pick to select 2025 Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza.
There's been more of a debate over who the New York Jets could select with the No. 2 pick, as Ohio State linebacker Arvell Reese and Texas Tech edge rusher David Bailey (+115) are viewed as the likely options.
Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love is projected to fall no lower than the No. 4 pick, which would make him the first running back selected in the top five since Saquon Barkley in 2018.
Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles used an impressive showcase during pre-draft workouts to boost his draft stock, and it appears to have paid off, as he's projected to be a top-five pick.
It will be exciting to see how the board shakes out when the 2026 NFL draft officially commences on Thursday night.
