WWE's Seth Rollins Throws Terrible Towel at Kyle Brandt, Leaves 'Good Morning Football' Set in Video

WWE Superstar Seth Rollins stormed off the set of NFL Network's Good Morning Football at the site of the 2026 NFL draft in Pittsburgh on Thursday.

After co-host Kyle Brandt took some shots at Rollins, Seth stood up, removed his earpiece, tossed a Terrible Towel at Brandt and left the set:

The incident occurred after Brandt took several shots at Rollins, including making fun of the fact that Rollins lost his match to Gunther on Night 1 of WrestleMania 42 on Saturday.

Brandt also mentioned Rollins' wife, Becky Lynch, saying, "Maybe we can get Becky to come in and actually win something for us. That's how it works for you guys."

Unlike Rollins, Lynch was victorious on Night 1 of WrestleMania, beating AJ Lee for the Women's Intercontinental Championship.

Given the subject matter of the spat between Rollins and Brandt, it seems far more likely than not that the situation planned ahead of time, which is known as a "work" in pro wrestling lingo.

Especially recently, WWE has been firmly committed to the use of celebrities within its product. At WrestleMania, streamer and YouTuber IShowSpeed wrestled a match, while former NFL star Pat McAfee and country music singer Jelly Roll were involved in the Night 1 main event between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton.

GMFB simulcasted Thursday on ESPN2, and ESPN happens to be the streaming home of WWE premium live events.

That suggests the argument between Rollins and Brandt may have been an angle to set something up either during the NFL draft or on WWE programming in the near future.
