Ronda Rousey Wants to 'Whoop' Gina Carrano's 'Ass' in MMA Fight and 'Show Her What I am Capable Of'

Two legends of MMA will clash next month as Ronda Rousey takes on Gina Carrano.

Rousey, who is making her return to MMA after nearly a decade away, said that she wants to "make her proud of me" while also taking down the veteran fighter.

"Once they close the door, I'm gonna do everything in my power to kill that chick with my bare hands, and it is up to that referee to stop me," Rousey said (9:30 mark). "And if anything, I want to show her the monster that she created and I want her to be proud of it. I want her to see like, 'Wow, I had no idea that what I started was going to create something like this.' And I want to show her what I'm capable of, whoop her ass and make her proud of me."

Both Rousey and Carano are icons in their own right, as Carano was a trailblazer for women in MMA and Rousey helped pave the way for women to compete in UCF.

But as much as Carano may have made an impact on Rousey, the two won't be friendly when they square off on May 16 in Los Angeles.
