Sue Bird, Megan Rapinoe Announce Separation After 10-Year Relationship in Social Media Post

Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe announced on their podcast, A Touch More, that they have separated after a 10-year relationship.

They also released a statement as well.

Bird and Rapinoe got engaged in 2020.

Rapinoe, a former U.S. Women's National Team soccer star, won a pair of World Cups and an Olympic gold medal. She also played for the NWSL's OL Reign from 2013-2023, scoring 52 goals in 121 appearances.

Bird, a Basketball Hall of Famer, won five Olympic gold medals with Team USA, four WNBA titles with the Seattle Storm and two national championships with UConn. She is also a 13-time WNBA All-Star.

Bird and Rapinoe announced that their podcast will be ending after six more episodes. Bird will continue with her Bird's Eye View podcast, while Rapinoe will be starting her own podcast later this summer.
