New NFL Mock Draft From Chad Reuter Drops for Rounds 1-7, What Changed with 6 Days to Go?

Several changes were made in the latest 2026 mock draft from NFL.com's Chad Reuter on Friday.

The Arizona Cardinals were projected to select Miami offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa with the No. 3 overall pick in Reuter's April 3 mock, although the Cardinals added Texas Tech pass-rusher David Bailey on Friday.

The Tennessee Titans also added Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love with the No. 4 choice after Tennessee was projected to add Bailey on April 3.

"Tony Pollard is entering a contract year, is about to turn 29 and has carried the ball over 750 times over the last three seasons," Reuter wrote. "Love's the top player on the board and, in this case, represents the team's future on offense. In the meantime, he can be eased into a rushing/receiving role as a rookie behind Pollard, giving the veteran some much-deserved relief, so that he can stay fresher throughout the season."

Reuter initially had the New York Giants drafting Love at No. 5 overall on April 3, but the Giants' pick was changed to Mauigoa with the Fighting Irish standout no longer on the board.

Mauigoa was listed as the No. 2 interior offensive lineman in the upcoming draft class on the latest big board from Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department.

The first round of the 2026 NFL draft will begin on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.
