Calvin Johnson, Pat McAfee Headline List of NFL Legends Set to Announce Picks at 2026 NFL Draft
The NFL announced the list of luminaries who will step onto the stage and announce picks in the second and third rounds of the 2026 NFL draft.
The group includes Calvin Johnson (Detroit Lions), Pat McAfee (Indianapolis Colts), Tony Dorsett (Dallas Cowboys), Curtis Martin (New York Jets) and Shawne Merriman (Los Angeles Chargers).

The NFL is taking the draft to Pittsburgh this year, and there will be a heavy Steel City influence during the event.
Dorsett is one of seven designated announcers who attended the University of Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh Steelers will be well represented, too, as they have four players set to reveal selections: Jerome Bettis, Joey Porter Jr., Joey Porter Sr. and John Stallworth.
As is the annual custom, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will announce every first-round pick. For the prospects in attendance, holding a jersey on the stage alongside Goodell is a moment they spend a lot of their careers working toward.
Bringing in current and former players is a way to spice things up a bit on Day 2, when interest in the draft is already beginning to wane a bit.
