NXT Call-Ups and 5 Sure-Fire Predictions for WWE Raw After WrestleMania

Chris MuellerApr 16, 2026

After months of buildup and anticipation, WrestleMania weekend is finally upon us, but that is not the only thing fans are looking forward to in the coming days.

The Raw after 'Mania is one of the more important episodes of the year because WWE tends to reset, begin new stories, and bring in new faces from NXT.

With Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Je'Von Evans and Royce Keys all being relatively new to the main roster, it already feels like we have a lot of fresh blood on Raw and SmackDown, so adding a few more names from NXT will add even more variety.

Let's take a look at some of the things we are most likely to see on the Raw after 'Mania this year.

Jacy Jayne

1 of 5
NXT Vengeance Day

There are few NXT stars more qualified to join the main roster than Jacy Jayne, but there is another reason why this call-up is likely.

After a long and successful run as NXT women's champion, Jayne dropped the title to Lola Vice at Stand and Deliver, which frees her up to pursue something new.

After so long in the developmental brand, there is nothing left for the 29-year-old to do. She has grown into a well-rounded character, and she's more than reliable enough to trust her to work with anyone.

Out of all of the things you will read on this list, Jayne's call-up is the one we are most confident about.

Joe Hendry

NXT

When he came into WWE, Joe Hendry was already a fully formed character with over a decade of experience on both the indies and in TNA.

While the Scot could have skipped NXT entirely, he put in a good run with the brand and won the men's NXT Championship.

Now that Tony D'Angelo is the new champ, Hendry, 37, seems poised to make his way to the main roster.

Anyone who pays attention to the indie scene might remember the feud between Hendry and his fellow Scotsman, Drew McIntyre. If we're lucky, they will pick that story back up now that both men are in the same promotion again.

Ethan Page

3 of 5
NXT

Ever since he arrived in NXT, Ethan Page has been very successful. Not only is he a former men's NXT champion, but he is also the longest-reigning men's North American champion in the history of the title.

At this point, All Ego is just spinning his wheels. There are no new mountains to climb for him, so the best option WWE has is to bring him to Raw or SmackDown.

The 36-year-old is a Swiss Army knife-type wrestler. You can put him in any situation with any opponent, and he will make it work.

There are so many potential feuds for Page on the main roster that would entertain the fans and give him some brand-new opponents at the same time.

The only downside to this is NXT losing one of its major players, but that is the nature of the brand. It gets people ready to move on to bigger and better things.

The Return of Kevin Owens

4 of 5
WWE - Saturday Night's Main Event

Prior to WrestleMania 41, Kevin Owens was injured and forced to take time off to heal his neck.

Now that it's been a year, fans are hoping The Prizefighter will return and bring his brand of entertaining chaos back to television.

The 41-year-old has been sorely missed in 2026. He is one of the most entertaining talkers in the industry, a top-tier wrestler, and one of the easiest people to root for in all of WWE.

If his music hits on Monday, the arena is going to erupt. Owens is beloved by the WWE Universe, so let's hope he is healthy and ready to get back to knocking people's heads around.

A Major Turn

5 of 5
SmackDown
Matt Cardona

It feels like Randy Orton has been the only major heel turn to happen in a while, and that gives WWE a prime opportunity to shock fans with another.

It really doesn't matter whether it's a heel or face turn as long as it's someone big and somewhat surprising.

Somebody like Cody Rhodes is unlikely due to his status as the top babyface in the company, but somebody like LA Knight would be easy to transition into a heel role.

Big character shifts are what can help revitalize someone's push, which means multiple people across the roster could benefit from it.

One possibility is Matt Cardona. Having him turn heel and align with his real-life wife, Chelsea Green, would create a new power couple that could dominate the midcard scene.

Just imagine how good Cardona and Green would be as the men's and women's United States champions together.

What do you hope happens on the post-WrestleMania episode of Raw?
