This comes after Toronto selected UCLA's Kiki Rice at No. 6 overall as well as Kentucky's Teonni Key and Australia's Saffron Shiels in the second round in Monday's WNBA draft. It then took Davidson's Charlise Dunn in the third round.

It is not the only expansion team this season, as the Portland Fire will also take the court in 2026.

Toronto opens the season at home against the Washington Mystics on May 8, so the fans won't have to wait long to see the new court in action.
