Full List of Ohio State Players Drafted in Each Round of 2026 NFL Draft
Ohio State in recent years has been known for sending amazing wide receiver prospects to the NFL, including Jaxson Smith-Njigba, Terry McLaurin, Chris Olave, Marvin Harrison Jr. and Garrett Wilson.
However, this year, OSU is sending a loaded defensive class. The Buckeyes have been second, first and first in fewest points allowed in all of Division I-FBS. That incredible defense led to a national championship in 2024 and the No. 2 seed in the College Football Playoff in 2025.
Safety Caleb Downs, B/R's No. 1 prospect on its big board, looks like the potential defensive backfield cornerstone for an NFL team for a decade-plus. Linebackers Arvell Reese and Sonny Styles can wreck havoc on quarterbacks. Defensive tackle Kayden McDonald looks like a serious problem in the trenches as well.
But it speaks to the incredible Ohio State pipeline that the Buckeyes are still sending great offensive talents to the league as well.
Of note, wide receiver Carnell Tate just caught 51 passes for 875 yards and nine touchdowns, and that was as the second option in the pass game behind potential NFL superstar Jeremiah Smith. Tight end Max Klare (43/448/2) looks like he could make a team happy as well.
Here's a look at the Ohio State draft prospect list and their pro landing spots.
