A.J. Brown Trade Rumors Addressed by Eagles' Howie Roseman amid Patriots Buzz Ahead of NFL Draft
Despite the trade rumors that continue to link star receiver A.J. Brown to the New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman isn't budging from his stance.
When asked about the chances that Brown is traded before next week's 2026 NFL draft, Roseman dismissed the question and simply told reporters, "A.J. Brown is an Eagle."

New Report on Colts-Richardson Situation
Many consider it to be an inevitability that the Eagles will trade Brown at some point this offseason. Philadelphia would lower its dead-money hit significantly if it trades him after June 1. The Patriots have long been deemed as the frontrunners to land the 28-year-old, as he has a relationship with head coach Mike Vrabel dating back to their time together on the Tennessee Titans.
Patriots executive vice president and general manager Eliot Wolf was asked about the possibility of acquiring Brown while speaking to reporters on Monday, and he made it clear that New England would welcome a deal for the three-time Pro Bowler.
"As far as players on other teams, again, gonna keep the door open to anything that we think may improve our roster," Wolf told reporters. "Whether that's with the player you mentioned or other players."
Despite Roseman's insistence that Brown's spot in Philadelphia is safe, all signs point to the two sides parting ways within the next few months. While New England appears to be his most likely landing spot, there's still time for another team to swoop in and present Roseman with an offer he can't refuse.
