The Pickleball Slam returns for the fourth year, pitting some of the best athletes in the world against each other in the most rapidly growing sport in the world, for bragging rights and a hefty monetary prize.

Three-time champion Andre Agassi headlines the list of competitors appearing at this year's event and is joined by James Blake, Genie Bouchard, and 19-year-old pickleball phenom Anna Leigh Waters.

Pickleball Slam 4 Preview

Agassi is a legendary figure in the world of tennis, having reached the top spot in the world, won an Olympic gold medal, and eight Grand Slam titles. He has dominated this event, winning in each of the first three years.

He faces his toughest test to date in 2026, however, as he teams with Blake to battle Bouchard and Waters.

Unlike in years past, where the competition has consisted of former tennis greats, this year features the best pickleballer in the world, Waters.

The 19-year-old out of Allentown, Pennsylvania, is the top-ranked woman in the world and, pound for pound, the best player regardless of gender. She has accumulated 165 gold medals in the sport and 38 Triple Crowns at her young age, with plenty of time to expand upon her jaw-dropping resume.

It starts in Florida.

She rarely loses points, let alone matches, making her the most dominant competitor in the sport.

Bouchard will be looking for a measure of revenge, too, after losing last year's event to Agassi and Steffi Graf. How she performs may be the difference in Agassi taking home a fourth title and not.
