New Todd McShay NFL Draft 2026 Big Board Drops, Who Is Rising and Falling amid Latest Rumors?
Texas Tech edge-rusher David Bailey climbed into the top five in the newest big board from The Ringer's Todd McShay.
McShay's first four players remained the same: Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love, Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles, Ohio State edge-rusher/linebacker Arvell Reese and Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza.
Bailey was the first change as he overtook Buckeyes safety Caleb Downs for No. 5.

Todd McShay's 2026 Big Board — Top 10
1. Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame
2. Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State
3. Arvell Reese, EDGE/LB, Ohio State
4. Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana
5. David Bailey, EDGE, Texas Tech
6. Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State
7. Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State
8. Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU
9. Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee
10. Rueben Bain Jr., EDGE, Miami
In a tight race to be the first wide receiver off the board, Ohio State's Carnell Tate might be creating some distance. He moved up to No. 7, while USC's Makai Lemon (No. 14), Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson (No. 16) and Indiana's Omar Cooper Jr. (No. 19) all dropped.
Wideout is one of the deepest positions in the class.
Tyson occupies the top spot on the Bleacher Report big board, but his overall grade (8.2) is only 0.4 points higher than the eighth-ranked prospect, Louisville's Chris Bell.
Offensive line is another area where teams are going to find a lot of value, though there may not be an elite prospect.
Miami tackle Francis Mauigoa slipped out of the top 10 and sits in 11th. He's followed by Penn State guard Olaivavega Ioane and Utah tackle Spencer Fano. Clemson tackle Blake Miller (15th), Alabama tackle Kadyn Proctor (17th) and Georgia tackle Monroe Freeling (20th) all cracked the top 20.
Quarterback remains a much different story.
Alabama's Ty Simpson is now 30th on McShay's big board, with ESPN's Matt Miller reporting last week there's a growing consensus he could fall to Day 2. Once the Crimson Tide star is gone, it could be an even longer wait for the next QB.
McShay has North Dakota State's Cole Payton (No. 61), Arkansas' Taylen Green (No. 66) and LSU's Garrett Nussmeier (No. 75) as the only other three inside the top 100.
This isn't a new narrative of the predraft cycle, but it's a tough offseason to be in need of a quarterback.
