The Sky sent two-time All-Star and Olympic gold medalist Ariel Atkins to the Sparks to acquire Jackson, who was the 2024 No. 4 pick. In 38 games last season, she averaged 14.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists.
Reese was traded to the Dream on Monday in exchange for first-round draft picks in 2027 and 2028. Chicago now owns a total of five first-round picks over the next three seasons.
It's clear that the Sky are ready to move forward into a new era, and the team is certainly hoping that Jackson can help lead the way in 2026 and beyond.
