Wemby Breaks Playoff Record
Hokit wrapped up a unanimous decision win over Curtis Blaydes at UFC 327 in Miami on Saturday night.
Hokit set the tone early in the fight, opening the first round with a series of strikes before Blaydes eventually responded with an elbow. Hokit found success with his right hand in the second round, as both men repeatedly traded punches.
In the end, Hokit emerged victorious.
The pair combined for 303 signature strikes landed in 15 minutes, one shy of the heavyweight record that was set in 2019 (h/t ESPN's Andreas Hale).
Hokit improved to 9-0 with the win, including a 3-0 mark since his UFC debut in Aug. 2025. Prior to taking down Blaydes, he defeated Max Gimenis and Guilherme Uriel.
As for Lewis, he sits at 29-13.
While he lost to Waldo Cortes-Acosta in his most recent action at UFC 324, he secured wins over Tallison Teixeira and Rodrigo Nascimento in his two prior fights.
UFC Freedom 250, which will be on the South Lawn of the White House, is set for June 14.
