Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Brandon Pfaadt provided an assist during his start on Saturday against the Philadelphia Phillies to help reveal the gender for his brother and sister-in-law's baby.
Pfaadt wore special pink laces with his cleats to let the couple know they are having a girl.

MLB has compiled an Instagram reel of past reveals, including Houston Astros shortstop Jeremy Peña wearing pink wristbands to assist a gender reveal for his college roommate and Cleveland Guardians outfielder Steven Kwan calling timeout during an at-bat to put on a pink wristband to let teammate David Fry know his wife was pregnant with a girl.
