Chelsea Gray, Aces Reportedly Agree to 3-Year, $3M Contract in WNBA Free Agency
Chelsea Gray is reportedly returning for a sixth season with the Las Vegas Aces.
The Aces are signing Gray to a three-year, $3 million fully-guaranteed deal, ESPN's Kendra Andrews reported Friday.
Gray, who was named WNBA Finals MVP in 2022, has won three championships with the Aces.

She most recently averaged 11.2 points and 7.3 assists in 12 playoff games to help Las Vegas claim the 2025 title.
Gray earned her new deal, which will lock her in with the Aces through her age-35 season in 2028, after a bounce-back season in 2026.
She had been limited to just 27 games of the 2024 season while dealing with a lingering foot injury. When available, she averaged a career-low 8.6 points per game.
Gray came back to average 11.2 points, 5.4 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game in 44 starts for the Aces last season.
After helping the Aces win their third title in four years, Gray went on to star in Unrivaled, where she was named league MVP after averaging 24.2 points per game in her second season in the 3v3 league.
She also took home a $200,00 cash prize after winning Unrivaled's 1-on-1 tournament, an amount larger than the $196 million annual average salary she was taking home on her previous two-year contract with the Aces.
Gray's new contract comes after the WNBA and players agreed to a new collective bargaining agreement raising the salary cap to $7 million, which the Aces are reportedly planning on using to keep together their championship core.
The Aces have already reportedly agreed to a one-year, $1.19 million contract with Jackie Young, and the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Callie Fin reported in March the franchise plans to sign A'ja Wilson to a $1.4 million supermax salary "as soon as possible."
