White Sox Announce Pope-Themed Hat Giveaway for All Fans In Honor of Pope Leo XIV in New Photos

The Chicago White Sox revealed that the team's Pope-themed hat giveaway during an Aug. 11 game against the Cincinnati Reds will now be available to all fans.

Chicago initially announced that the hat distribution was a special-ticket giveaway (h/t MLB.com's Brent Maguire).

The hats are in honor of Pope Leo XIV, who has been open about his White Sox fandom and attended their World Series victory over the Houston Astros in 2005.
