Toriano Pride Jr. NFL Draft 2026 Scouting Report for Buffalo Bills CB

Daniel HarmsApr 16, 2026

The Buffalo Bills selected Missouri CB Toriano Pride Jr. with the No. 220 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.

Toriano Pride showcased his impressive athletic ability at the combine and played well on the boundary for Missouri. While a switch to safety or nickel is likely in his future, he didn't back down to the bigger receivers he faced.

The former 4-star recruit and transfer from Clemson isn't a ballhawk by any means, but he put up respectable ball production with four interceptions and eight passes defensed in his two seasons with Mizzou.

Dan has covered the Kansas City Chiefs and the NFL Draft since 2019 while contributing for RGR Football. Most recently, he spent the 2025 draft cycle at The Draft Network and is entering his first season in our scouting department.

Where He Wins

2 of 5
COLLEGE FOOTBALL: OCT 11 Alabama at Missouri

— Pride plays bigger than his size on the boundary with physicality, good use of the sideline, and recovery speed to turn and run.

— He's a tough, reactive player with natural footwork and zone feel to make a transition to nickel who fights at the catch point.

— A willing downhill run defender and click and close hitter underneath.

Areas of Improvement

3 of 5
COLLEGE FOOTBALL: OCT 11 Alabama at Missouri

— Pride's lack of instincts and reliance on reactive athletic ability put him behind receivers and the play.

— Has tight hips, which limit his transitions and give receivers space underneath and over the middle of the field.

— Bites on releases and route fakes with aggressive movements that allow him to be stacked or broken off.

— While an active run defender, he doesn't have the stopping power as a tackler and will get dragged or thrown off.
