Jeremiyah Love, Ty Simpson, Full List of NFL Draft 2026 Attendees Revealed After Mendoza Decision

The NFL announced this year's attendees for the 2026 NFL draft, highlighted by Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love, Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson and five Ohio State Buckeyes (edge-rusher Arvell Reese, safety Caleb Downs, wideout Carnell Tate, linebacker Sonny Styles, defensive tackle Kayden McDonald).

Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza, the presumptive top overall pick, previously informed the NFL he wouldn't be attending the event so he could spend the evening with his family.

Simpson, meanwhile, is going to be a very interesting player to monitor during the draft. Every year, there's a high-profile player who ends up dropping down the board, providing a bit of drama for the telecast (and a bit of torment for the player in question).

At the moment, the B/R NFL Scouting Department has Simpson ranked No. 28 on its latest big board and projected him him to go No. 26 overall to the Arizona Cardinals in its latest mock draft (the Cardinals traded back into the first round in that projection).

"Arizona has the offensive infrastructure for a young quarterback to properly develop with head coach Mike LaFleur, offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett and quarterbacks coach Matt Schaub," B/R's Dame Parson wrote. "A trade back into the first round allows the Cardinals to grab their top-rated player with the third overall pick, then select the quarterback who best fits their offensive system. Simpson is accurate and plays with more polish than his experience level. His ball placement and ability to layer the football between the numbers will complement Marvin Harrison Jr.'s and Trey McBride's skill sets." 

It will be just as intriguing to see if Love can be just the second running back since Saquon Barkley in 2018 to be a top-five pick. Or how many Buckeyes will be top-10 selections, with Reese, Downs, Tate and Styles all very realistic possibilities in that regard.
