Ravens 2026 NFL Schedule Released for Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry's Super Bowl Push

Doric SamMay 14, 2026

After missing the playoffs last season, the Baltimore Ravens are hoping to return to Super Bowl contention in 2026.

The Ravens learned their schedule for their first year under new head coach Jesse Minter on Thursday after the league released the 2026 slate for all 32 teams. Baltimore will face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1.

Analysis

After an 8-9 finish to the 2025 season, more wins should be on the way for the Ravens in 2026.

Baltimore has the ninth-easiest schedule in the league based on its opponents' 2025 winning percentage.

After firing head coach John Harbaugh and hiring Minter, the Ravens made headlines when they appeared to acquire star edge rusher Maxx Crosby from the Las Vegas Raiders. However, they rescinded the deal over medical concerns and pivoted by signing former Cincinnati Bengals edge rusher Trey Hendrickson, solidifying the defense opposite star quarterback Lamar Jackson and running back Derrick Henry.

A better showing on both sides of the ball should help the Ravens easily get through teams like the Cleveland Browns and Tennessee Titans. However, that doesn't mean that there won't be some tests along the way.

Pivotal Matchups

Baltimore will have to get through tough division matchups against the Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers, but there will be more challenges outside the AFC North.

By finishing second in the AFC North last season, the Ravens will have marquee non-divisional matchups against some fellow second-place finishers. Those include the Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Chargers.

The Bills are entering a new era after replacing longtime head coach Sean McDermott with former offensive coordinator Joe Brady. Still, star quarterback Josh Allen will be ready to bring it against Jackson and company in a battle between former NFL MVPs.

The Cowboys are certainly hungry after joining the Ravens in missing the playoffs last season. Dallas kept the band together by placing its franchise tag on star receiver George Pickens, so the team will undoubtedly present a challenge.

The matchup against the Chargers will be particularly meaningful for Minter, who served as the team's defensive coordinator for the last two seasons after following head coach Jim Harbaugh from Michigan to Los Angeles. Facing his mentor will surely be a tough test for the first-year head coach, but Minter should be able to bring the best out of a talented Baltimore roster.
