Reds Unveil New City Connect Uniforms in Video, Photos, Debut Date Revealed
The Cincinnati Reds will be living up to their name when they don their new City Connect uniforms.
The team unveiled the design Thursday and it features an all-red look. The tops include sublimated pinstripes. The Reds also utilized the specialized "C" logo from their old City Connects but with white accents this time around:

Cincy didn't go full sleeveless, but the jersey seems to be a nod to the past. Sleeveless tops have been part of the Reds' wardrobe before, and having the pinstripes stop at the shoulder recreates that effect somewhat.
Adding the pinstripes to the hats is a nice touch as well.
The new City Connects will be a staple of the Reds' Saturday home games, starting this week against the Los Angeles Angels. Here are the rest of the dates:
- April 25
- May 9
- May 23
- May 30
- June 13
- July 11
- Aug. 1
- Aug. 15
- Sept. 5
- Sept. 19
Cincinnati is off to an 8-4 start. Wednesday's 7-4 loss to the Miami Marlins snapped a five-game winning streak, and the teams close out their series Thursday.
For now, the Reds are tied for the best record in the National League Central. There's a lot of time for the standings to fluctuate, but their performance is encouraging as they try to make the playoffs for the second year in a row.
